Lovelee and Robert’s wedding day started in a Presidential Suite at Hotel Fullerton where we got to capture their getting ready process. Getting to know both of them, their families and wedding party was such a pleasure. So much energy and love was floating in the air and it was easy to capture it all. We then headed to St. Elizabeth church (which is actually my home church too!). Prior to the ceremony, I was flying my drone and actually accidentally crashed it on the roof! Luckily the staff at the church was so accommodating and I was able to obtain my drone back. Although it was damaged permanently, I was still able to get a replacement from DJI (thanks!). We continued our day at HillCrest Park to get their romantics and wedding party session. We ended the day at the Fullerton Community Center. It had lots of natural lighting peeking through the adjacent windows, we didn’t even have to use our lights! Anyway, check out how their story unfolds below:
Happy 4th Everyone! I hope everyone had a safe night enjoying our independence day with some fireworks. A couple months ago, I got to capture the sparks fly between Renee and Kenneth as their story unfolded at Universal City. It was a such a pleasure to work with an amazing team of vendors to capture their special day. I even coincidentally ran into one of my good friends doing her calligraphy for their wedding. I love all the details of this wedding! Check out their edit below.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple Lizz + Sam! It was such a pleasure and honor to capture their elegant wedding. Lizz and Sam was a lot of fun to work with. From capturing the energetic groomsmen to the cheerful bridesmaids, it was a pleasure meeting all 16 of the wedding party (I still remember all the 8 names of the bridesmaids too!). Although there was a forecast of light showers, we were blessed with only a short overcast followed by sunlight!

I’ve got another great Director’s Cut to share with you. Meet Kathy and Quang, both in the same healthcare profession whom are outgoing and compassionate. I first met Kathy many years ago during her prerequisite studies while I was also taking a photography class. I knew of Quang back then but once he popped the question a couple years late, I was so happy they contacted me to capture their wedding day.
We started the day at the Coyote Hills Golf Course, which is one of the first places I’ve shot a wedding when I started this business. It brought back a lot of memories. about 7 years ago, I had only DSLR and an old camcorder. Mixing the two different qualities of footage was so difficult back then. Fast forward to when I shot this wedding, I had an array of new equipment and now the new problem I face is picking the one shot among all the great captured shots. In addition, I finally was able to drone this location.
We finished the day at the Mon Cheri Restaurant where we got to see all the hard work that was put into their wedding day unravel. The opportunity to work with Kevin Vu Le was another blessing as we worked great together acquiring our shots. Enjoy the edit!
